By Sean O’Connell Hollywoodnews.com: Michel Gondry’s “The Green Hornet” was one of the films Harry Knowles screened for patrons at his “Butt-Numb-A-Thon” over the weekend in Austin, and while Twittering during the event was forbidden, a few film scribes took to the Web after the fact to chime in. “The Green Hornet is better than the trailers suggest.” — Eric Vespe “Green Hornet pretty good, better than expected.” – John W. Smith “My BNAT score: the vintage was great, and the first 12 hours were the strongest. GREEN HORNET is decent, but misses the full mark.” – Devin Faraci Those of you who couldn’t make it to Austin, and therefore missed screenings of “True Grit,” “Tron: Legacy” and the first 40 minutes of Jon Favreau’s “Cowboys & Aliens,” will just have to wait a few more weeks until these movies actually open. “The Green Hornet” will be in theaters on Jan. 14. To help drum up interest in the film, which stars Seth Rogen, Cameron Diaz, and Jay Chou, Sony has unleashed this international cast poster.
